| Hate to see RJ go, but I understand about his mother. Don Paul is going to take over the news department at Meyer.

| Very Sorry to see RJ go. He was a great asset to the area. Hope to hear him again someday. Don Paul was KTTS in the begining he will bring ratings up and many will tune in to hear him again. Now where is Richman and Stephens?

| Don's a good guy and I'm sorry someone beat me to the punch of welcoming him to the group. I see great things in our future and look forward to working with Don. Tomorrow is RJ's last day.

| Hate to see R.J. go. He has done a great job for being a one-man band news guy, plus, do the ops duties out there. He may have microphone withdrawls for a while. I did.

| Don Paul was one of the best things that ever happened to radio in the Ozarks...along with Barefoot Bob, Big Ed and little brother Elroy. Thank you Curt Brown for bringing them to springtown. Last edited on Mon Sep 14th, 2009 03:52 pm by Turner the burner

| Thanks for your comment about bringing those guys to the Ozarks. I can assure you that Don Paul is a Pro in every respect. He understands the biz as few do. Don is the only person who worked with me from 1972 through 1999 (except for a couple years he went to KFDI in Wichita.) That's the entire time Great Empire owned the stations. He is truly a GREAT person as well. I know he will do well at Meyer if given some "space".

I too, am happy to hear Don Paul on KWTO. He does a great job with the news as well as hosting the morning show. To me his presence brings a level of professionalism needed to bring KWTO to a new level. A level that was was sorely needed. His voice, to me, brings such familiarity to Springfield radio listeners that they can really appreciate . Great to hear you again Don.
I must say though it does seem a bit strange to hear you on KWTO and Joe Reios on KTTS. Joe too is doing a great job. All a part of the wonderful world of radio.
