You know radio has gone down hill when you realize what once was THE PASSION of the first 50 years of your life is now reduced to something you really can't enjoy. When you scan the radio dial you get tired of the JUKEBOX MUSIC,no personality, little information, totally disconnected with what you are looking for...Resulting in turning the RAIDO off and turning the c.d. and tapes on. At least you are enjoying the music. That's why when I travel I leave the radio off and play my selected music.

On the front of Christmas music, KWND has the absolute BEST variety of music in their Christmas mix. Very listenable, with few repeats. All has to do with the size of the library, and the sillingness to USE that library.
I look forward to hearing what KZGM has for their Christmas mix. Myron has a great touch for variety.

I have to agree about KWND. I generally don't listen to religious radio stations. However KWND's Christmas music last year was a great way to get into the holiday spirit. It was very well done!
At KZGM we're waiting until after Thanksgiving to start holiday music. Although some of you may think that's a little late we're promoting it as the first holiday music on radio for Christmas 2010.

KWND doesn't make it to my home here in North Central Arkansas but they are about to be getting out further. We are currently installing a 5 bay FM at 610' for them as an upgrade.

It's times like these I'm embarrassed to volunteer for you.
KZGM's wall-to-wall Christmas programming starts this Wednesday, I believe. Normal programming resumes on Saturday- just in time for my annual countdown mix show with the best dance music tunes of 2009 starting at 10PM on 12/26.
