If that's the case, then he has chosen "the issues" over the health of his wife. Maybe he should go back to Canada where health care is free, even for the unemployed.

Was he worried about anyone else's reputation when he made un-substantiated claims?  He needs to do his OWN homework on the issues. 

Other people who work at Journal are having their reputations tarnished just because they are a co-worker of the loon.  I know how hard the news team works there, and to have VDJ tarnish the heritage of the news team is a travesty.  IMO.....If I were Rex, I would take care of the problem right now, because it will never get better!!

If he does get fired, he can always opt for Cobra insurance coverage!

You are right, King Bear.   I just hope Rex wakes up before he sees KTTS News spinning in unison with Canadian Bacon any further.

 The people in the News Department do work hard.  

Yeah, I'm biased in what I write about them.  But even though I'm out of the game, I still have contacts and it's amazing their perceptions.

Remember the old saying, "Perception is Reality."  

I personally don't think Canadian Bacon is bringing in that much dough to offset the continually erosion of confidence in the news operation of KTTS!

#1. According to responses to the blog, there are NO tunnels under PCS. 

#2. Is he referring to the Feeney case?  No mention of Springfield's most famous unsolved case. 

#3.  His doctor needs to increase his meds!

I'd like to sell this guy Ocean View Property in Arizona!  He'd believe anything and especially if I included facts that JQH was building a hotel next to it!

There are no tunnels directly under the square but several under the sidewalk C U rooms. There is some tunnels under buildings and go around Jordon Creek. Animals Are sacrificed on a daily basis but most know but turn their heads. Do not panic its Willowbrook.

I am certainly not a fan of VDJ's especially his regular show. However, I will be first to give him credit for his ice storm coverage...he did what all stations should have been doing...taking calls from the public with ref; to keroscene, batteries, shelters, etc. He did do a very good job with the storm. As to, "saving lives", who knows.

Simply posting your own words w/o comment. What very important words they are. Saving hundreds of lives is really something. Perhaps someone could give you a parade. SGF PD would surely donate their time for traffic control since it's YOU who saved hundreds of lives. Heck, your own station should've had a promo on to that effect by now. A Presidential Medal of Freedom would be in order for saving hundreds of lives. Do you think any of the hundreds of people who owe their lives to you would come forward and tell their story? Many of us would be very interested in hearing or reading about that.

Your doing your job in the ice storm is not under question here. Your gigantic boastful lie is. Especially with your FM down at that time, I really can't imagine even one hundred listeners tuning in to what you were offering.

Back in the Great Empire days of KTTS "we" did lots to save lives.  Our weather coverage was second to none.  In 1983, when the tornado swept across southern Springfield and destroyed over 200 homes, only 1 person died...a miracle. It started just east of Kansas and south of Battlefield and let up just short of the cemetary at Sunset and Glenstone.  KY3 even called and asked if they could carry our sound on their air...we said sure of course.   One man told me his daughter was with a choir coming back to town down Battlefield and because of what we said, the driver turned south before he got to Campbell, just in time to avoid a direct hit by the tornado. We recieved well over 100 pieces of mail (snail) thanking us for the coverage.  One time I recall getting a call from a lady in Neosho, saying that KTTS saved their lives...Joplin stations were not covering the storm, they listened to us and headed for the basement just in time to hear their house be blown away over them. So yes, those great "Ranch hands" indeed saved several lives.
