You mean, "THIS ... is Dave Baldwin?"
Great pipes.
And hey Milt: You're right about the Shelley/Libby, et. al era at KTTS. Best radio newsroom in town history, cemented on the foundation that Morris built. That's when KTTS, KSMU, KWTO and KGBX all had working newsrooms. Good times.

| Dave Baldwin was one of my favorite morning partners! We developed a friendship that has lasted decades, and I felt he was one of the best newsmen Springfield has seen. We had a blast on the air and had some dominating ratings in the morning! Dave is into marketing for electric coops now, bit we've remained very close. He's like a brother!

| Thanks to Radio Radio for his post that alerted me of my brain fart in the nick name category. I meant to remind readers of the walk/run in memory of Chris Sifford, AKA "Cliff", but "Milt" was on brain in response to Monte's comments. The edit has been made...

No worries about the mixup.
Other names that came to mind - and I forgot to include with the earlier post - Tim Griese overnight news with that original group I had mentioned - then add in Marty Broman a little later on.
Brings back other memories like the Holiday Go-Patrol's thru the Battlefield Mall parking lot....

| You guys are stiring my memory tank...remember all the Christmas parades? They were lot's of fun...the 100 pc. Marching Transistor Band, with 100 kids carrying their transistors tuned to us (with big banner up front)...also the KT Invisible Dog Choir, with those dog harness' with no dogs and barking dog record doing Jingle Bells on the truck speaker...also, the Flying Zukini Brothers with a big cannon shooting out zukini's....or the 200 ft. tall Invisible Baloon of Dolly Parton with 8 guys holding ropes up in the air like they were connected and the speaker on the van playing Dolly saying "hello to Springfield & Merry Christmas" with banner up front of course. They were lots of fun, keeping the fans guessing what we were going to do this year.

Mornings - Woody P. Snow and whomever. Probably Rippe instead of Janet - for obvious reasons. Ironically, Don Kellogg would be my #2. I know, he's #2 to you too, Woody.
Mids - 1. Alex Stone... 2. Dave Roberts... 3. Joe Kinder.
PM Drive - 1. McClain... 2. Rick Moore... 3. Kevin Allen.
Nights - 1. Turner the Burner... 2. Adam West... 3. Bruce Hammer.
Overnights - 1. Hines... 2. Simon Nights... 3. Scott Garrett.
Just my 3.8 cents. (inflation)
