Doug, we're talking about the same format. Westwood One is basically LMA'ing the formats to Excelsior, which is marketing them under their Dial-Global brand.
For the most part, that format has been incredibly stable with Jeff Rollins, Chick Watkins, Ed Brand, and Mark Haden. The only real change in recent years has been Dan Armstrong's departure (replaced by Peter Doeblin and then Drew Braxton.)
As for MOYL, I doubt it'll go completely away. If they can't pull out of the money crunch, I wouldn't be surprised to see Jones actually buy the thing and operate it as one of their own (since they already have the distribution/marketing rights.) If that happens, I'd also expect them to try to present it more like a local format than the "national radio network" approach currently employed.
Oh, and Turner The Burner - to the best of my knowledge Lew Jones is still Middays/Ops Manager at Jones' Classic Hit Country format.
