So, News/Talk (on an AM station) leads the market. Good for them!
What really surprises me is that the highest rated country station is #7 (KBEQ). When did KC lose it's taste for country?

| I'm sure the demise of 61Country is one reason, but considering that there are three country stations in the top 15 isn't too shabby. No other format shares that distinction. What I find interesting is that an AM station once again tops the list. That hasn't happened since 61Country went FM.

But notice the #1 and #2 country station (KFKF) in the market have the same owner. So in reality (to me, at least), Wilks has an 8.4 share, which would beat the 7.0 share of KMBZ. How long has it been since KFKF finished behind KBEQ?
My take is that Wilks having two Country signals in the market just adds to their bottom line when you're selling to an advertiser - you have 2/3 of the Country stations in the market.
