A couple of major moves from some upper level management types. Long time KC big dawg Herdon Hasty who left CBS/Infinity with the Wilks take over of MIX93, Star 102, KBEQ & KFKF has landed at Entercom. Also headed to Entercom is Cumulus Market Manager Dave Alpert...it seems his contact lasped and in the midst of new contract talks he bolted. (Dave was the big dawg for the Cumulus stations in KC but is rather short in stature and when he and former KCMO AM morning man Van Patrick had a heated exchange during Van's firing/resignation during his air shift, Van had the classic line, "if you were 3 feet taller, I'd kick your ass".)
What a coup for Entercom who now has the two former main men from the main competition in house...a load of inside information and a wealth of sales/management expertise frm Herdon and "Herb".
