Dan Verbeck has resigned from KMBZ after more than two decades behind the wheel of Cruiser 980. No reason was given. Verbeck is an institution in K.C. broadcasting. But as we all know, radio is quick to "shutter the windows" on institutions.
BTW. Dan had a unique style that was captivating. He was unique as Charles Gray was in his days.
The best, Dan!

Well, nobody "shuttered the windows" in this case other than Dan himself. Hard to chalk this one up to the big bad corporate broadcaster (especially since, among conglomos, Entercom has one of the better reputations regarding staff.)

| I hear there's more to it than meets a simple, "resigns."
