From the pics it looks like the farmer was mowing the property, probably for hay.

At least it fell clear of the doghouse.
Too bad this didn't happen a couple of years ago when scrap metal prices were at the top!

On the other hand, that also means replacing the tower is also high priced. A project I'm involved with currently had some concerns when bid whether the steel would be available.
