I am considering another trip up I-44 to St. Louis, then up good ol' U.S. 61 toward the family near Bowling Green, Louisiana, Clarksville, and all over the old stomping grounds. What should I listen for once I am east of Rolla - and on up into Iowa?  I may visit a friend or two up there - I owe at least one a good face-to-face visit after years of neglecting my friendly duty.  Y'all know what I mean, I'll bet.

Borrowing that TV newsguy speak, "now, I'm not necessarily hoping to keep a schedule of listening to everyone, but I'd love to hear the highlights of who's interesting, and of stations that aren't copycat/cookiecutters."  I'd prefer to hear the Shepherd-like stations of the world over the CC/Cumulus stuff that I can listen to almost anywhere.  I'll hear some "73 Country" when I'm up that way, but what (not a big classic country fan - but I want to hear KWRE - they're still doing it the old-fashioned way) or who else should I try to get in during my listening?

If I get to Hannibal/Quincy - what's going on there?  I'm alllllll outta the loop there.

[trip may be taken between March 1st and July 31st, depending on my workload]
