| I hope we have better coverage next year. Any news on this new manager the Royals just hired? Any Bets on LaRussa leaving?

LaRussa was just waiting for Joe Torre to turn down the Yankees "insult" offer, and if he can nail a deal he'll be off to the bronx. Here in Cincinnati there was widespread speculation that he might come here, but I don't see how he'd be any good for the Reds, given their current situation. Obviously all that talk died with the hiring of Dusty Baker.
But if LaRussa leaves, I bet it's for a major city like New York.

Tony stays !
Until the Royals get some across the board talent, a great new manager isn't the save-all for the franchise. Think about the team of players the Royals let get away over the last few years.
