KUDOS to Ron and Brandon at KY3...the best part of their wall coverage is the amount of geographic info they provide, especially in the city.  They gotta get rid of that touch screen radar system.  It never seems to work as they want it to.

KOLR's Ted and Tom also do well.  I've always liked Ted's style.  The doppler radar with multiple storm tracking is cool too.

KSPR seems to struggle through these events and the guys seem to tire quickly.  I don't like the radar at 33 as they have too many icons which cover the action and the 3D view is too much for my vision.

KSFX showed the game.

I watched the action from inside the dungeon with a bottle of slow gin.

Agreed about KY3.  They did a great job, especially considering the duration of the events overall.  I was exhausted just watching it.  It would be nice if they could add James River Freeway to their street maps.  There was one of their maps that didn't have it on the close zoom views.   I also thought it was funny that the base map of one of the radars they were using labelled Nixa as Nevada for a while.

Also kudos to the KTTS bunch.  Once my power went out at about 3:00am, I listened to their coverage as it felt like my house was going to blow away, tornado or not.

I hope all here are well and escaped unharmed.

Struggle? Well speaking from being there 1st hand I would have to say that sure didn't happen.  Tire quickly? No actually I think we were all in pretty good shape for being on for 13 hours actually. It's funny though we did receive over 200 different comments on our weather blog from people who loved our storm coverage, but hey I love the challenge! Stay tuned we are gonna have even better coverage with our new toys we are getting real soon!

I was impressed! It's a far cry better than what was presented in the Springfield 33 days. Keep up the good work!

I often wonder how Tim Drum's presentation would be with all of the new changes.
