| Latest long range forecast models are placing a significant severe/winter weather event during this period...Models indicate copious amounts of moisture and vertical shear in the Ozarks region thru this period indicating the possibility of severe thunderstorms and possible tornadoes...Surface temperatures should be close to 70 degrees on Monday the 4th...After the front passing here there is a threat of accumulating winter precipitation...Again the normal caveats apply as the purpose of my post is to remind you to review the future official forecasts carefully and plan your responses accordingly...
