Kind of like two summers ago, when reporters were trying to pin down retiring head of the National Hurricane Center, Max Mayfield, to say that the high temperatures in Colorado were caused by global warming.  He calmly pointed out that the third week of July seemed to be the hottest week of the year, year after year.....
