Hi Everyone,

We are having a severe weather class Thursday, May 22 at 6 p.m. The focus of the class will be on broadcast coverage of the weather. This will deal with watches, warnings, public reports, etc. and how to deal with them on-air.

The class will be held at what will be our main studio at 1211 Ozark Street (Business 60) in Cabool, MO. Meteorologist Mark Emanuel will be conducting the class.

The class is part of our continuing series of classes for those volunteering for our station. The classes are free and even if you don't live in our coverage area and would like to attend please let me know. You can always do some voice-overs, or whatever for us later.

I'd appreciate advance notice if you plan to attend so we can make sure we have adequate materials and maybe even some refreshments for everyone. I can be reached at 417-547-4665. That's also the number to use if you need directions.
