Off to another season of HS Football, and believe it or not Parkview actually beat an out of town team, they beat Lebanon 16-13...Wow.
As for the rest of Springfield HS teams...same old story...they can't beat an out of town team: Glendale LOST to Joplin, Hillcrest LOST to West Plains, Central LOST to Thayer...Kickapoo LOST to Camdenton.
Just proves that Springfield teams can beat each other but rarely any team from out of town. It's been that way for years, it must be reflective of MSU, they usually lose just about every game also. On the otherhand, Basketball is totally dfferent, Springfield is a Basketball town no doubt but always poor on the gridiron.
