Don't ask me why but I have never been a big Barry booster.

It is a shameful time to say your from Springfield.

Looks like Mrs Olson and Nellie in Walnut Grove live here.

The " Name change" Will make us BIGTIME.

A new arena will make us BIGTIME.

A new coach will make us BIGTIME.

Barry Hinson would have been in 3 times if not for the " we are big" name change.

I remember the selection committee was familiar with SMS not MSU.

Alford would always dangle the offers from other schools and we had to play that every year. Same with others. But Barry said he loved it here upfront and we did not have to deal with that, Here is another proud moment in " EGO Village" I hope Barry goes to the NCAA every year and MSU sucks like the football team.

What a bunch of hillbillies with a lost focus. Implants just ruin Springfield. Look at the radio TV execs. And look 30 years ago when it was local with the Coopers we looked and acted so much better.

I think the name change was a huge mistake.  I always was proud of Southwest Missouri State and how far they had come in national prominence and how far they fell as Missouri State in national recognition.  Sports commentators still have to explain that MSU is the former SMSU.
