| That double base running blunder by Gathright and DeJesus was pathetic and some of Trey's moves seem questionable to me and I hate that they sent Butler back to the minors. It has been tough to be a Royals fan.

| Butler will only be better. I wish they would send Pena down so he could learn to hit the ball. This could still be the year for the Royals as bad as the whole division is. If they would just win enough to get to 500 would be nice.

How quickly the lofty predictions of western Missouri being the home of the dominant baseball team in the state this year have faded. "We're going to win the AL Central and be better than the Cardinals" is now "hoping for .500 and fearing the Mariners might get hot and get out of the AL basement."

| Lord you should see the KC star website and read the Royals fans posts, you would think this was the World Series, not a mid week 3 gamer in June. I think the Royals players do play better in New York or against high profile NL teams especially on the road because they are auditioning, hoping to God one of those teams will trade for them or sign them when they become a free agent. If this was a 3 gamer at home in late August versus say Cleveland, the Royals would go back to thier usual grab bleep ways and lose. HOWEVER, today I wear my David DeJesus jersey with pride and curse Mediacom because we dont get pre-game or post game shows, and man those Cardinal tv pre-game guys are smug.
