Wow, am I impressed, Springfield High Schools actually won a couple games over out of town teams on opening night of the season. Usually we (Spfd.) can't ever win over an out of town school...just over another Spfd. team. Kickapoo won over Camdenton and Hillcrest beat West Plains. Could it mean winning seasons?

| Ooooops....Central is the ONLY Springfield team to win last night. All others lost to out of town teams. Oh well, Spfd. is a Basketball town I guess.

Another week of Springfield teams losing to out of towners! Central was the lone exception, they beat Willow Springs. All the rest lost AGAIN to out of town teams! With my hometown being Columbia, I just can't adjust to such losing. Any ideas on why Springfield can't win?

You know Mike is a big football guy, maybe when he returns from Korea he can become the Parkview High School football coach. During the summer workouts he can tell those sweating kids on the blocking sleds about how global warming is a crock. He can explain to the young skulls full of mush how soccer is for those flaming liberals who want that "global society" nonsense. And how everytime the News leader mentions that 50 plus game losing streak, it is BIAS ...

| Ha ha ha . Actually we should treat being bad at football as a badge of honor. We are the France of Missouri. Soft, weak and ready to surrender to everybody. The pre-game pep talk should be " Life like football is hopeless, you are all going to grow up to make minimum wage and the only joy you will ever know will be hard drinking and dirty magazines so lets go out there and go 3 and out on every possesion, lets strive for multiple turnovers and definatly try not to tackle anybody" Ok I'm borred and being DUMB, but guess what ? I am moving to Mammoth California in 49 days to work a seasonal job at a ski resort and hopefully Y'all will miss me when I am gone
