If the current Rooneys sell the team it will be the same reason Gussie Busch's kids sold the Cardinals. Lack of passionate interest.

People might sell a car because of taxes or a boat, but a professional sports team, especially one of the legendary sports teams that has been in the family 75 years. I don't see the world throwing a big ol tantrum and selling everything and live on Ramon noodles just because Obama is in the White House.
