I hear that MIKE FM is done in the fall 2007 ratings lost big time. We are hoping here at Community that KCAR will take off again, but we're not sure if that will happen. KMXL tooks some big drops. It's a waste of money for any advertiser to buy that sinking ship.
/I don't know about MIKE FM. I really don't care for the format but looking at the fall ARB KMXL 95.1.is in 4th place right behind KSYN ,thats not bad..
The Arch in St Louis 106.5 has dropped from their peak a few years ago,this format will gradually fade but not yet..WCBS FM in New York now has dropped JACK for classic its..
As far as KCAR now , sounds better than ever now with recent slight format change..
Mike's slide is only beginning. Its going to keep the slide right on down to a 2.0 share radio station. Adult hits sucks. The format has no legs and will be gone soon. and we'll have MIX back. YEAH!!!
