There's always a song in my head, and on my Iphone.

Today, it's been "Sunrise" by Simply Red.  It's based on a sample of Hall & Oates "I Can't Go For That", but adds a really great hook.   Some call it Smooth Jazz, some call it pop,I just like the song.

Here's the video link for the song, though for me, the video ruins the song.

The video ruins alot of songs. I remember in the 80,s I would love a song but when I saw the video it ruined it and I no longer enjoyed the song. I think the theatre of the mind has its own video and it destroys that  " good felling" and shatters our dreams. Good music is best without the video. There are thosands of places we go when we hear a song. Many times one used at a funeral can bring pleasant or unpleasant memories later thus you either want to hear it or it is just to hard. They take us to school first dates skating in the old days at Doling on the wood floors or that big rink that used to be in Monett. Ah the organ music was great. And no one ever plays that exciting organ music. Its sad that even in ball parks its automated. These are the darkesr times in music history.
