Not to mention that Jim always recognized the contribution of his crew. I remember when he covered the Winter Olympics in Poland, where a blizzard was keeping the ski jumping events at bay. After watching the picture for a few seconds, he asked, "... but who's the brave cameraman and crew up there getting us this shot?" They all walked out in front of the lens where he saluted them ... by name.
Nice when the stars remember those of us in the background who make their fame possible.....
