I hear things have changed at Mountain Grove. What's the latest over there?

KELE-FM and KOZX-FM were sold to Ozark Media in Lebanon/Fort Leonard Wood at the beginning of the year. Ozark Media owns KFLW. I was scheduled to return to that company to become the station's PD, but received a much better offer to stay at KTXR.
This deal doesn't include KELE-AM, which is supposed to move to Ripley, OH. No big loss.
There is much work that needs to be done. A LOT of work. Best of luck to their new PD Shawn Anthony. Many exciting changes are on the way.

A little birdy told me they're calling it "The Grove". Not bad.

Word is that there will be no changes until the sale has consumated. Programming will be "unique."

| The Grove is trying to play catchup with the Houston station that has over run the area. No shock that when Houston finally got a real owner and management it would take off.
