| Yesterday my wife and I went to Berryville Ark to a family event and while dialing around I noted that KOMC FM (Branson) came in almost as well as KTTS FM on hiway 71 near Noel and on south to Berryville. Have they increased power or tower height? Or, has it always been that good?

KOMC has been a C2 for about 10 years now according to the FCC database (equivalent of 50,000 Watts), with a tower to the south of Branson, so I'm sure they put a very good signal into a Berryville, and a good chunk of NW Arkansas. According to Maps, KOMC should be putting a city grade signal stronger than KTTS into Berryville and Harrison due to the proximity of the tower.

I listen to KOMC every day in Fayetteville. Comes in much better in Bentonville/Rogers, even with KURM-FM on 100.3 next to it.
I very much enjoy that station. It has cleared this area well since at least 2000 that I know of.

| That's Great...I just had not been down that way for years and didn't know it reached that well. Here in Springfield with 24 "local" stations, I spend more time listening to KOMC than any other station. I like their format and they do a good job on local Branson news as well. I worked there for a year or two, after retiring from KT. I don't do "retirement" very well, got to keep busy. I was hopeing that they had up'd power for their sake. Charlie, Scottie and gang have been friends for years.
