I thought I'd drop you a line and let you know, Kirksville radio lost a true broadcasting legend yesterday, as KIRX Party Line host and former chief engineer Charlie Porter
passed away at his home at age 86.  Services are to be held at 2PM Saturday at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home on Highway 6 East in Kirksville, with visitation 6-8 PM Friday.  There may be a full obituary later at either http://www.kirksvilledailyexpress.com or http://www.ktvotv3.com.

Charlie Porter was doing Trading Post on KIRX when I was born.  A real trooper.  He will be missed!
