| Is this the beginning of the end for the Ozarks Radio Network?

$830,000 doesn't seem like a whole lot of money for a 100kw FM.

KAMS has a great signal, nearly as big as KJEL. HOWEVER, Mammoth Springs and West Plains ain't Lebanon and Springfield, plus Lake of the Ozarks plus Rolla, Ft. WOod, etc. Bunches of retired folks in Arkansas don't compete with those markets. So, even for a 100 Kw @650', that's probably pretty good money.

Hey Art,
I do work for these stations. Bob Eckman has been employed there for years and has been kind of a "silent partner".

By the way, I have been snooping around and I like the message board!

| I agree Art, but what is the TSA's population? Is it just a flame thrower with nothing to burn?

Wondering if it could move Southwest (closer to Mountain Home)
A couple of CP's in the Mountain Home area sold for around 300K
in recent FCC auctions. I think they were C3's. One may have been a
C2. The stations are now on the air and recently advertised for sale.
Price: 1.5 for the two station package.
Looks like it would be worth more (even if it had to be downgraded to
a C2) if they could move the tower closer to the Bull Shoals-Norfolk Lakes
area. Lower power bill and one of the best small radio markets in the Country.
