What about the school Czar who is an ex-NAMBLA member ? The Christian station here did an hour long thing on that and it wasnt a bible thumping screamfest deal, very well down. Got the message across without showbiz theatrics. Hannity had an ex FBI agent who infiltrated NAMBLA talk about all the devious twisted stuff they do. Even I have to wonder where is the hour long Obermann editorial for THAT. Maddow just sorta touched on it like we are all just homophobic over-reacting. Yes, I get tweaked when FOX calls healthcare reform  "Government takeover of healthcare" conjuring up bad images of some DMV type doing your next physical. But an ex-NAMBLA member school "czar" ???

Now you're griping about something in a book from 32 years ago??? The FCC has already stated that they have no interest in dictating programming.

I love your theatrics of "The take over is going to pick up now." I had a good chuckle over that.

Spectrum will always be a limited commodity. However consider that when cellular carriers switched from analog to digital service they added 3 times (TDMA) to many more times capacity for calls at every site without using more spectrum.

Net Neutrality is an important issue to make sure that no entity can deliberately interfere with what we access on the internet. Notice that with the limited competition between national wireless carriers that the monthly price is fixed at a rate above landline service and has more restrictions on its use, access and amount of data transferred.

The telecommunications giants would like you to believe that a majority of the U.S. has access to high speed internet. However the current rules say that if even just one person in a zip code can get DSL or cable then the entire population of that zip code is counted as having access to it. It's obviously not an accurate representation. But it sounds good when the phone companies send out press releases and lobby.
