How about some good news for the old media? KTTS had several awards lately by doing news weather the old way. Inform and super serve the listener way. The News-Leader would do good to look at how they did it in the 60's and get a good "Bob Palmer" type and skip the pridefest and to  cover positive local NEWS. Hit the small towns as well. Make it like it used to be cover some local softball events and family events ( make it where folks want to cut and save articles. Remember when Ralph Thieme would cut every story out and send to the person in the story or photo with a poem from Beverly Thieme. Not that many years ago and I would bet some good local business would do that also if we only had the good stories and cartoons like we did in the good ole days. And how about that Joe and Christine Daues story or the new weather guy at KSPR. The Saturday Newspaper used to have a story or two every week in the newspaper  " OF Mikes and Men" local news and radio folk stories. I believe that ran in the View that was in the paper until the 79-80 year. Anyone remember any of this?

Whoopee...Rush just renewed his contract. What a deal, just blame everything bad on the Democrats.  If the moon turned green for some strange reason, it would be those Demo's fault according to Rush.  If anyone is that Right Wing...I truly feel sorry for them and hope they "get a life" soon.  No, I'm not a Democrat, just don't like crazy extreem people on either side Republicans or Democrats.  In the middle is where the vast majority of us are when it comes to politics.
