Have you been listening as you've watched the Democrat presidential campaign, that neither Hillary nor Obama are mentioning Iraq anymore? It's very seldom. Maybe in a debate it might come up. "We gotta get out. We gotta get out." I told you it wouldn't be a campaign issue. You remember this? Last fall, I told you and I told the Democrats: it's not going to be an issue. Traditional issues are going to start to matter: the economy, the few of the country, this sort of thing. From ThePolitico.com today: "American public support for the military effort in Iraq has reached a high point unseen since the summer of 2006," almost two years ago. This, they say, is "a development that promises to reshape the political landscape." Hey? Psst? Politico? It was reshaped last fall when I said Iraq wasn't going to be an issue. "According to late February polling conducted by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press..." It sounds like a communist organization: Poll for the People and the Press; the People's Democratic Republic of Davis, California. You know, it's a socialist commune. According to polling by Pew, 53% of Americans "now believe 'the U.S. will ultimately succeed in achieving its goals' in Iraq. That figure is up from 42 percent in September 2007." So that's up 11 points. That's why they're not talking about it.
The American people have done a 180. This is due to Petraeus, it is due to our military, and it is due to George W. Bush. The Drive-Bys are not happy about this. The Associated Press. Listen to this story. How does this even become a story? I'm going to read this the way this guy was mouthing it when he wrote it. "Fewer people know how many U.S. troops have died in the war in Iraq," even though we've done nothing but tell 'em! We've told 'em! We've counted every dead body! We've counted the injuries! -- Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! -- and more and more people have no idea. Screw this and screw you! (That's the AP reporter as he's reporting and typing the story.) "Only 28 percent correctly said that about 4,000 Americans have died in the war, according to a survey by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center. ... Exit polls of voters in presidential primaries and many national surveys have shown the economy has displaced the war in recent weeks as the public's choice as the nation's top problem." I predicted that. I told you. They're so mad! They are so mad; they are frothing. You don't read 'em! You're not paying attention to the death toll! That's what they base their entire effort to kill the war and get defeat on -- and you didn't listen, because you didn't care, because you had the whole thing in perspective. Ah, folks, it's hard for me to contain my euphoria and my glee today.

Mike, are you so brain-washed that you quote Rush without citation?
http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_031308/content/01125113.guest.html
Man you should really try thinking for yourself and spend less time worshipping the neo gods and posting this schlock here, there and everywhere...the same goofy graphics and the same copied content that you always post. I contend you have offered less than 200 words in your 200+ posts here...always predictable and never your own. What a waste of server space and so very boring.
Go ahead, take your 3 sentence pot shot with accompanying graphic!

Is that euphoria and glee that 4000+ Americans have lost their lives in an invasion of another country or that millions of Americans could lose their homes in this economic "downturn?" You must be a riot at a meeting of optimists.

General Petraeus appearing before congress last week seemed to testify that the war is going so good there is no need to end it.
Chenny made over 3 million dollars last year...nice to be a boss at his war machine company, isn't there some sort of conflict of interest there...war = profit for the VP.
