That's a good article. It shows exactly why media needs to ask questions, after all that is the point in free speech and our democracy.

Otherwise how we would we find out that having unprotected sex with an under-aged girl is perfectly fine with Palin's family values.

You would think that if the father were so family oriented that the couple would have been married already rather than waiting five months. I'll bet there's some political pressure there (and maybe money too!)

We spent over 40 million dollars of tax payer money investigating Clinton's clandestine episode while in office and now you're suggesting that media should ignore pertinent information?

I'm not judging the family, the daughter, the young man involved with Ms. Palin.  I just recall that when I was young, and that was even when it was a male who was around 20, someone who dated 17-yr-old was not being so snubbed and judged as someone who was "doing things with an underage girl" because of her age.

Times have changed --- today's youth is more informed about certain activities than 20 years ago --- however, the ages between the youngsters who fraternize with each other really has not.  It was the same then as it is now age-wise.

Is it me or those Palin look like Mary Ann from Gilligans Island.  Maybe she will put Gilligan in charge of Iraq insuring we will never get out lol... I thought Rush was gonna pull down his drawers on the air and you know what when Palin was announced as the VP candidate. LOOK if you are a neo-con you WANT the Rachel Maddows ( who wears more make up than Ace Frehley ) and other liberal feminists to bad mouth your girl. My suspicion is on election day alot of people who are publicly supporting Obama now will once behind the curtain have a Fire and Holy Ghost experience " do I really want to put a "non white guy" in the White House"  and vote for Pops McCain and Mary Ann. That is my 2 cents.

I think Mr.Mike is referring to Bob Woodward... the famous Bob Woodward who took down Nixon has now written a book on President Bush that s'possidly will shake us all to the core. I doubt that happens. For all of Mike paranoid ranting about BIAS in the media, todays media is powerless. They don't show the caskets of Iraq on tv or bring the war into your living room like they did Vietnam. Investigative reporters don't take down presidents anymore. So what if 60 Minutes wants to bring ol Bob Woodward out of the mothballs and give old hippies a moment. Flip over to Hannities America or  YOU HAVE THAT CHOICE...

What are you waiting for? This was covered back in early July by what you call old media.

There's nothing much to the story. He didn't get any spectacular interest rate. He was upfront and publicly revealed the details. The story you cite was written by an anonymous writer and has a lot of speculation. News is generally based on facts, depending on the news source.
