I knew a DJ that did the overnight shift and would bring in a pillow and alarm clock. He would set the clock to sound at the end of a record and nap in three to four minute increments.
Speaking of breaking news...I saw on one of the cable "news" channels the other day lead with "breaking news", still no autopsy results in death of Michael Jackson. They have destroyed any credibility in the "breaking news" theme.
I think prime time news shows are a total waste. The cable news channels do a decent job during the day but go totally worthless at night.
