Party affiliation has nothing to do with the acts of Eliot Spitzer. What is between his legs is neither a democrat or republican and I doubt the prostitute's receiving end had a party choice either. the issue is about power and poor judgement and there is plenty of that in all parties.

Morris, you're right that party affiliiation has nothing to do with what he did but let me ask this...why...if the report is true...was it OK for the major networks to not identify his party when it was done for other politicians in that news report?

maybe a producer decided it wasn't important and it went on the air. tv goes through many phases before hitting the air and who really knows what happens. it's easy to say it was a biased report. just more ammunition for the right. if it were a republican, they wouldn't be saying a thing...would they?

Actually the most "unbiased" American news source is the BBC. They don't make celibrities out of thier " presenters" the way we do our anchors and everything is pretty straitforward take it or leave it.

Proposition C was perhaps one of the biggest wastes of taxpayer money ever. It only dealt with a couple of issues of the health care plan, not the entire plan. I could take our Missouri legislators' concern over the federal program a little more seriously if they didn't accept taxpayer paid health insurance for themselves. Interesting that state senator Lembke said in a radio interview that he didn't want any of his or taxpayer money to go to care for people who can't afford health insurance. He even suggested that the appropriate response of emergency rooms would be to require health insurance or prepayment before treatment...even in life threatening situations. Couldn't find where he gave up his taxpayer paid health coverage anywhere. He doesn't answer his messages either in regard to the matter. Then again if you have the power to get your health care for free why should you care about anyone else?

Since it's a Democratic sponsored compromise, nary a word. Amen
