I just noticed on KY 3's website that Fred Miller passed awy this morning. They also included some great footage. Too bad they didn't have any footage of the "flashing" weather map.

| That Flashing weather map put K-Y 3 on the map. Tom Dye and Jack Elliot were greats also. Never knew what Elliot would wear. I have watched all the Fred tapes K-Y 3 put out I hope we see more. Freds Birthday is 8-2 and I hope they will make every year a day for remembering Fred. K-Y 3 with the fountains was the house that Fred and Ned built.

| I realize I had some of the old ads for KY 3 from Springfield Magazine. If I had them in my "underground hideout" I would have posted one on my blog. I may still do that.

| I wish the history museum would do a weather memories. With all the weather men and the " Sets they used" We need a Fred Miller section in the city that puts all his history for all to see.

| Miller was a greet weatherman at KY3. Unrelated question, does anyone have a good picture of the original KTTS-TV tower on the downtown building? I'm collecting history of Missouri Broadcasters and would like to add that pix to my collection.
