A biased news organization pays for a biased-based poll and the results show bias. Hmmm...your point is what?

I don't get all the complaining. Maybe back in the olden days when you had 3 tv channels and needed rabbit ears to get them you could complain. Maybe in the old days when you only had a handful of radio stations you could complain. We don't live in one of those countries where there is one government controlled newspaper and it is posted on the town square type thing. If I want pro-Obama coverage I know I can watch Kieth Oberman for example, I know if I am going to tune in to 1260 AM I am going to hear the right wing point of view. It isnt about FAIR it is about CHOICE, and we media consumers have alot of choice. Problem is I don't think some people want us to have choices and then consider the very mention of the candidate or party they dont like as BIAS. Obama mowed his yard today BIAS. McCain eats the earlybird buffet BIAS... We all have biases and seek out media that agrees with our bias. I am voting for Obama in November there I said it .... But that doesnt mean I want FOX blocked off cable tv or other people shouldnt be allowed to watch.  This whole Liberal elite business that we want to spoon fed  people in flyover country because we dont think you are smart is one of Rush's most outdated yarns.

Dude, you act like it is still the late 60's slash early 70's when you had Walter Cronkite coming out against Vietnam. Norman Lear shows dominated and those damned hippies and George McGovern. Yes, the old media is dead. We have this thing our president like to call " the internets" in fact the media has never been MORE Republican friendly. Can you imagine how the 60's media would be handling Iraq or the Bush presidency. You think Rush would have a national show in early 70's radio? Sure blame it all on Katie Couric, the fact is you put any anchor on a network news show and the ratings would'nt change. The media landscape has changed, you have 24 hour cable news and radio, the ol 5:30 national round-up is outdated and in the future will probably be deemed as an unneccasary waste of money. Todays media -----The good is anybody can be in todays media IE blogs, websites ect THE bad news is --- Anybody can be in todays media. I am curious Mr Mike Do you have the Pretenders " My city was gone" as your ringtone ? I won't laugh I have "Lust for life" Iggy Pop and Boomtown Rats " Up all Night " LOL
