Hey cool!    Our club is experiencing quite a bit of growth.  I'm sure you won't have any trouble reaching the 97 repeater.  It's located on a hill just east of Monett.

Then, there's the Shell Knob repeater at 145.210.   And, the Kimberling City club has one too.  So, there will be plenty of action for you.

When are you coming?

Ah, I noticed that tower just east of Monett.  You guys just replaced some antenna's on it.  I also noticed some cross band repeater links on there too.

I will start work on Monday December 10th but cannot officially move from Liberty, MO.  until after the house sells.  I am dropping the price, so I hope I can sell it fairly soon.

I am going to live with my parents until then.  NO MORE COOKING AND LAUNDRY FOR ME! :P    Well, for a little while anyway...

Art thats great on your new call and general class license.I have been a ham over 50 years and stilll enjoy it.W0JRP is my original call almost my initials but not a vanity call. Also had K5CYK for about 20 years when I lived in TX and OK.

You might think about loading up a broadcast antenna on 160 when off the air.We tried this one Sunday night when I worked at KIXZ 940 in Texas, thats a half wave on 160.Only trouble we had so much power line noise we could hardly copy the strongest station. Couldn't get the chief engineer interested in ham radio although he liked to experiment.

I have been checking in to the Nixa MO 6 meter net on monday nights, 4 of us from Joplin have got in.The repeater is on 53.270 mh minus 1.7mh.Understand it is located near Republic..up 500ft.

Hope to work you sometime
