The following is from an official email from FAA, when asked for the right number.....

"The flight service stations are not part of FAA any longer, they're under Lockheed Martin.  Some of them are shutting down and they're undergoing consolidation.  There is one number to report light outages now, it's 877-487-6867.

Brenda Mumper
Airspace Specialist - IA, KS, MO, NE
Federal Aviation Administration, Air Traffic Organization
Obstruction Evaluation Service, Chicago Office"

You must report (legally) within 30 minutes of noticing the outage, as you are monitoring visually every 24 hours, or have an automated alarm to report an outage.

Have your ASRN, Call Letters, City of License, and your initials ready to report.

GET A CONFIRMATION NUMBER FROM THEM.  PROTECT YOUR STATION'S BACK SIDE

After reporting, you have 15 days to correct the outage.
