Shags is out at the Buzz.  That leaves them with ... nobody?

Shags will be leaving in two weeks.  He got a better job outside of radio.  Good for him!

As for who they have left, you're pretty much right.  They're either going to have to bring someone in, let their brand manager program the station, or extend someone else.  I know there have been rumors in some markets, but not Mid-MO as far as I know, that Cumulus is going to fire everyone outside of the morning show and just voicetrack their stations from some of their bigger markets.  I hope that's not the case...

^^ Congratulations!!  You have successfully attacked another professional, and on the internet, no less.  Feels good, huh?

if you think THAT'S an attack, you've never seen an attack. that was an idle opinion based on hours of first-hand listening. if you don't want opinions given of this guy's performance, he shouldn't be in radio. i heard shags and he needed to be air checked like twice a week. he had potential, but his "jokes" were crude and inappropriate - even for that format... and especially for drive time.

so if it makes you feel better, champ... go ahead and take your shots at me for giving an honest professional opinion... even if it wasn't solicited. (it was up on the board, so that's almost a solicitation) i just call 'em like i see 'em. ask anyone i've ever worked for or with.

And so then you must see, that nobody likes having shots taken at them.  Especially on a public forum.  I'm not Shags, but I know him as a good honest guy.

Whatever your opinion, don't forget that we live in a glass house here.
