So, how are the former Shepherd stations doing?
I haven't anything from anybody since Goodradio settled into running them. Are they still fully staffed? Are they still selling everything that moves? Are they still cash machines like they were under the Shepherd leadership?
Just curious.

| It's been just over two months since I heard the Moberly stations, and they honestly sound like nothing at all had changed. KRES was still its full service country/farm format, KIRK was doing a soft AC, and KWIX was running talk but it still had the same sales-heavy, stripped-down approach.

My friend who works in the Waynesville/St. Robert area said that Goodman had kicked around the idea of becoming "music heavy" as it were, more songs less commercials, but then they found out that the would make money if they just left things alone and remained sales driven.

| I was just back in Moberly and Macon for a vacation and class reunion and they sound the same. Talked to some friends and stopped by the studios and they still are the same. Doing well with the billing it seems too - everything is still sponsored and sports rule for them these days !
