You must not be from Central Missouri!  Several different places about got washed down the river Saturday morning, including areas around Columbia and Gasconade County.  Some people reported 4+ inches of rain in a short amount of time.

Then Saturday night rain washed out several fireworks shows just as they were getting underway.

Was up in South Dakota a few days ago and marveled at how blue the Missouri River was at Chamberland, just before the bad lands and black hills.  It looked more like a lake than the muddy mo that we have around these parts.
