AllAccess is running an ad placed by Gary Exline which states that one of their AM stations will be flipping to all sports in the near future, and needs a programmer.

I would assume that the apocalypse will likely take place before 680 ever goes all sports, so it sounds like the "oldies" on KSFT will be coming to an end soon.

Can a local sports talker in Saint Joe keep up with the 810s and 610s of the world forty minutes away?

I visited with Gary Exline just yesterday and he was amazed at the applicants - some from much larger markets. The station is doing a lot of high school football and some local sports talk. I doubt that WHB and KCSP have any reason to feel threatened. Still, compared to the satellite oldies format they were running on 1550 before, this is a big improvement. At least it has SOME local content and in my book, that is always good for radio.
