MRMB hears that RJ McAllister, longtime Missouri radio news-dude, is departing East Chestnut Expressway for parts unknown. (Trying to write headlines like "Variety" magazine)
Anybody know the details of RJ's departure?

RJ's last day is September 12th. It's sad, but at least it's on his own terms. He is leaving for St. Louis to take care of his mother who was recently diagnosed with Alzhiemers.
Not only did RJ serve as our News Director, but also Operations Manager. He's been a real leader and a fighter when he needed to be and a friend when we needed him to be.
I will miss the many conversations we had about music. I will miss asking him a random radio history question and BAM hearing more than the info for which I asked. That's why we like RJ! I also like that he's a straight shooter. In today's world, that is appreciated.
Thanks, RJ.
