| You should try KLFJ 1550. It's owned by that Grand Crowne Resort in Branson. Check out their FCC license.

If your looking for one in Joplin, try WMBH 1560, don't think they will ever return to the air.AMI probably owns there tower and transmitter, Art would know..
By the way JopliN no longer has a sports station, since zimmer dropped ESPN 1230.

| Buddy, if you want to be a b***rd you can point out some of the FCC violations which KLFJ is blatantly violating. WMBH is another good idea.

| I know KLFJ had violations in the past, but they've passed two inspections over the last year. Can't be bad enough to force a sale. Last edited on Fri Sep 11th, 2009 12:43 pm by Buddy Dornster

| Is there any word on relocating the KBFL-AM facility? How long can they continue to use the old tower on College St.?

| Maybe KSGF-AM is for sale. Saw where a group of investors was trying to buy the old KFDI-AM in Wichita. Maybe Journal is trying to dump their A-M's, except Milwaukee, to focus on fm audiences. But then again, the AM gets out a greater distance than KSGF-FM which is a light bulb hung on the side of a tower out near the Greene-Lawrence County line.

Morris, its KFTI-FM that Journal has been trying to unload.
And there Cirillo's move in of 660 to Springfield which is clearly for sale.

| Tried Cirillo some time back. Flat out "not for sale." Wish it was.

Have you talked to Rev. Larry Rice? New Life Evangelistic Center has been dumping off most of his commercial stations the last few years - most have sold fairly reasonably. They might be open to selling 1510 KMRF - especially since they already have a Non-Comm FM there.
