Asked Monday about another Axelrod claim that Fox News is just trying to make money, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said that while all media companies fall under that description, “I would say sometimes programming can be tilted toward accentuating those profits.”

Fox "News" isn't real journalism. Of course their goal is profit. It's just unfortunate that they couldn't use legitimate reporting to accomplish that goal. I think it's fascinating the way they "rewrite" what they've reported in the past to make it sound like they treated an issue fairly. Such as their recent claim they were at any time critical of the Bush administration. It emphasizes the danger of relying on one news source for your information.  Ratings starting to dip? Create a new controversy and claim no one else is reporting on it. As evidenced by the postings on this board you can always find someone to do the malicious work of spreading misinformation.

Have you seen the avid, die hard Fox News believe what you hear-type person. They all have bags under their eyes along with that pale worried look on their face...and paranoid.

"what a kook"

Another pre-programmed response from a fox viewer. Still no original thoughts, huh?

So what you're saying is  Fox doesn't like any dissenting opinions. Talk about hypocrisy! Despite what Fox suggests we still do have freedom of speech in this country and I would think a true news organization would embrace that rather than constantly ridicule it.

NYT: White House Attacking Fox Because It Is News, and That's the Problem

The cat is out of the bag at the New York Times. The Times has exposed, albeit passively, the true motivation behind the White House's Fox News attacks. Contrary to the administration's claims, it is deriding Fox not because it doesn't report the news, but rather because it does.
