I'm hearing rumors that changes are afoot at stations in Pittsburg.

Anybody hearing anything?

I can't see any changes being made at KKOW FM, no reason for them to change anything.

Are you refering to the tallgrass  owned stations? I can't understand why 103.5 dropped country.I like 101.7 but their format almost idenical to KCAR 104.3.

Been listening to KHST 101.7 and KCAR 104.3,seems KCAR 104.3 has gone somewhat more upbeat on their music playing less Barry Manilow, Bread, Air supply, Carpenteers etc.  KHST sounds about the same. KCAR maybe playing more 80s now less 60s.

I like both stations but seem to prefer KHST more now.

I was listening Friday, and noticed that the "Tallgrass" logos were completely missing.

Can anybody share any real information?

Yes now they call it  "Star 101.7" the hits of the 60s and 70s, also dropped Gold standard slogan..

Speaking of oldies the name few use anymoe, was listening to KCMO FM in Kansas City last night and on Sunday nights playing 50s and early 60s hits.

They were coming in good last night, no splash from local KMXL By the way Art was KCAR off for a while the other morning I was hearimg KBEQ on 104.3 loud and clear, conditions were so good that national weather service station on 162.425 was taking out our local which has transmitter at Avilla at times,

Star 101.7 sounds EXACTLY like Star 103.3 did in Tulsa when they were "Superstar Hits of the 70's and More..."

I really like it.
